The Columbus Cup 2008-Colombia, www.colombia.com, will be schedule for Friday February 29Th, Saturday march 1st and Sunday march 2nd. It will be a 15 stages match, plus chronograph and a minimum number of 315 rounds.  Five stages will be shot by day. Once the stages are approved by the IPSC sanctioning committee they will be posted.

The beautiful city of Medellin will be the host city for the Columbus Cup 2008, www.medellin.gov.co, is located in the andinean zone 1.479 mts. (4.437 feet) above sea level. With a temperature of 24° Celsius year round, the city offers the perfect scenario for the celebration of the match.

The Columbus Cup 2008 will have shooters in Open, Standard, Production, Modified and Revolver Standard.

Each of the different divisions will have participants in Ladies, Junior, Senior and Super Senior categories.

Recognition will be given up to the 5th place in each of the different divisions. In addition, there will be recognition up to the 3rd place in each of the categories.

For those shooter representing countries that are not in the Columbus Cup region, recognition will be given for the 1st and 2nd place in each of the different division.

Team recognition will be given for the 1st   place in each of the different divisions.

Also, there will be recognition up to the 3rd place for each stage and for all the divisions.

All participants to the Columbus Cup 2008 are invited to the awards ceremony that will be held on Sunday march  2nd  at 7:30 p.m. The place where it will be conducted is still pending.
